EXCELLENT CAREER OPPORTUNITY FOR DVM WITH SURGERY SKILLS
The SPCA of East Texas is seeking to add a full time veterinarian to our surgery team. High volume spay/neuter TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED along with the opportunity to be a part of an excellent surgery team consisting of 3 experienced, highly qualified vet techs. This position provides an opportunity to work in a low stress environment allowing you to focus on developing high quality spay/neuter skills while leading a community wide movement for the reduction of unwanted litters of puppies and kittens.
Located in beautiful East Texas, the SNIPPET clinic has completed over 25,000 spay/neuters since opening our doors in 2014. Our clinic is open to the public but also serves the rescued dogs and cats accepted by the SPCA of ETX Rehoming Program. With our new clinic design and acreage already acquired, our short term goals include the construction of a brand new clinic to better serve the needs of our community.
Job description includes the following:
Annual starting salary between $80,000-$125,000 (commensurate with experience)
Negotiable schedule to include 4-5 surgery days per week (dependent on volume)
Surgery team includes 3 experienced surgical vet techs
