We are seeking a full time or part veterinarian who is friendly, compassionate, and loves working with all of our animal friends, as well as their owners. Located 30 miles south of Richmond, Virginia, our predominately small animal hospital is a very progressive, community oriented practice. We have a digital x-ray machine and in-house laboratory testing, as well as a great support team to help ensure the best care and hospital experience possible for our patients.
Doctor hours are 9am-6:30pm Monday through Friday with surgery between 1pm-3pm and 9am-1pm on Saturdays. Doctors working within the practice have a flexible schedule.
We offer competitive salary and excellent benefits, which include an IRA plan, health insurance, 2 weeks vacation/ sick leave, paid annual state licensing fees, DEA compensation, employee pet discounts, and allowances for continuing education. Experience preferred, but would welcome a new graduate. Mentorship available for expanding surgical skills and treatment of exotics.

Licensed by the Virginia State Veterinary Board prior to the start date
Provide the highest quality of care to every patient by applying his/her education, expertise and unique and varied experiences in the practice of veterinary medicine.
Perform spay and neuters and dental procedures
Excellent communication skills with our pet owners and staff
Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and documentation
Support our practice and our community with compassionate and ethical practice of veterinary medicine
