Reed Animal Hospital is a progressive privately-owned hospital located in Saratoga on the west side of the Santa Clara Valley, 20 minutes southwest of San Jose, in the San Francisco Bay Area. We have a second hospital in Campbell. Saratoga is known for its suburban small-town feel (population 31,000) wineries and beautiful gardens. We are looking for an experienced veterinarian (full or part-time) or a strong new graduate who enjoys moderate-paced medicine and would like the opportunity to work in a collaborative and collegial culture. Dr. Reed our owner has created a progressive state-of-the-art hospital that attracts dedicated clients who really care about their pets. He loves to teach especially surgery. He was voted one of the Bay Area's Best Veterinarians in Bay Woof Magazine's Beast of the Bay Awards.

- equipment includes digital whole body and dental x-ray, Ultrasound, IDEXX, Abaxis in-house, Avamark for our medical records,

Qualities we’re looking for in an associate:
-ability to connect and have compassion for clients, pets, and staff,
-ability to do simple soft tissue surgeries; however, if you are interested in developing your surgical skills, Dr. Reed would be delighted to teach more complicated surgeries and/or orthopedics,
-good understanding of internal medicine.
