The Hospital Administrator leads a team of 40 medical staff – including veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants and client service representatives – in providing excellent patient care. To succeed in this role, the Hospital Administrator must be an excellent and enthusiastic manager of both people and processes and a champion for great teamwork.
Key responsibilities include leading, coaching and directing the team; ensuring adequate staffing levels; strong employee engagement, high medical standards and strong financial performance. Assist in analysis of current processes and practices to optimize business growth and lead the hospital to achieve results and maximize profitability.
The position requires a strong leader and excellent communicator with hospital team members, clients, and outside partners. Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational skills to manage deadlines and the ability to deal well in conflict and solve problems effectively are a definite asset. The ideal candidate also has the ability to contribute to an environment of trust, respect and enthusiasm.
