Integrative Avian and Exotic pet practice in western suburbs of Chicago is seeking a part time or full time veterinary associate. This progressive exotics practice is a combination of a primary care facility for a well established client base, referral practice for avian and exotic pets from around the Midwest, and holistic care center for dogs, cats and exotics. Approximately 95% of the patients are comprised of avian and exotic pet species, while the remaining are dog and cat holistic care patients. This practice is housed in a beautifully designed free-standing facility that creates a calm and welcoming ambiance while providing the latest in avian and exotic pet medicine.

Applicants must be compassionate, service oriented and intellectually motivated. In addition, a strong sense for team work is necessary to complement our top notch support staff and clientele. Potential associate must possess a strong passion for exotic pet medicine and never ending quest for learning in this ever changing field. Our entire team maintains a strong foundation in conventional diagnostics and therapy for all of our patients. Training and experience in holistic modalities is not required, but an open-minded attitude and willingness to incorporate the benefits of alternative therapies available is a necessity.

Our dedicated facility built in 2008 allows houses this 4.5 doctor practice. We have a technically strong and knowledgeable support staff, with 7 full-time technicians (each with several years of experience in avian and exotic pet medicine).
