The Broomall Animal Hospital was opened in 1951 and has been serving the community continuously for 66 years. We have third generation clients, as well as clients who are new to us. Over the years the Broomall Animal Hospital has undergone many upgrades including a new surgery suite, digital radiology, and a new staff break room with kitchen, just to name a few. Our hospital is a privately owned, two doctor practice.
We are a general, small animal hospital with a great support staff and an excellent reputation. Most of our staff have been with us for over ten years. Our team of technicians and support staff work well together with a sense of humor. We offer both high quality medicine to our patients and great customer service to our clients. Education is built into every appointment so that clients make informed decisions. We have an in-house lab, digital radiology, and a great working relationship with several nearby 24-hour emergency and specialty hospitals.

The work schedule alternates on a two week cycle, averaging 40 hours a week, allowing you to plan ahead. There are no after hours emergencies and no hours on Sundays.
Candidates will have exposure to many varied cases and will have opportunities to develop professional skills in an area that they have a particular interest so that we can learn from you as well as providing you with exposure to colleagues who have been in practice for more than a few years. Practice buy-in is an option for the right candidate.
The Broomall Animal Hospital is located less than 10 miles from the University of Pennsylvania. We are 1/2 mile from the entrance onto Route 476 allowing easy access to both the Poconos and the shore points. There are several excellent school districts nearby as well as great restaurants and many outdoor and cultural activities.
Candidates must have experience in internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and have excellent client, staff, and colleague communication skills. Responsibilities include: office visits/examinations on both canine and feline patients for both preventative care and sick visits, diagnostics, surgeries, and follow-up communication with clients.
Recent graduates are welcome and will be mentored as needed to gain confidence in both office examinations and surgeries.
