WANTED: ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN for a busy, 3 veterinarian mixed animal practice in Nashville, Arkansas. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, team-oriented new associate. The ideal veterinarian is one who is comfortable with beef production medicine and ambulatory work as well as small animal medicine and surgery.
Our practice is approximately 70% small animal, 25% bovine, and 3% equine, small ruminant and swine. The clinic is well equipped with digital x-ray, mobile ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house blood chemistry and cbc machines, service trucks, and a tilt hydraulic squeeze chute. We are well staffed with an office manager, two receptionists, two veterinary assistants, and a kennel attendant.
A seasoned practitioner will find this position professionally satisfying, financially rewarding and will be able to practice in a manner suited to their abilities. Percentage based pay will be considered for experienced veterinarians.
This is an excellent career opportunity for a new graduate to receive mentoring from two experienced mixed-animal practioners. There is also a potential for future ownership. We pay all expenses required for licensure (CE, license fees, etc.). Salary range will be $80,000 - $100,000 depending upon the applicant's abilities.
Nashville is a rural community in southwest Arkansas with a population of approximately 6,000. We are the only veterinary hospital in the community. We also service several other smaller communities in the region. Nashville has one of the best small town public school systems in the state.
