Veterinary technician: Seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician. Licensed CVT or LVT is preferred. Our hospital is a mixed animal practice, 90% dogs and, 9% equine and 1% miscellaneous barnyard animals. The candidate for this position must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well with other staff and clients in a fun loving, "team family" oriented environment. Experience and proficiency with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, x-ray procedures, anesthesia induction and monitoring, surgical set up and assistance, lab equipment, and electronic medical records is necessary. Position requires attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and reliability. Our Technicians share a rotational weekend and holiday "on call" schedule.
