Hawaiian Humane Society is seeking a high volume, high quality spay/neuter veterinarian to join our team. The successful candidate will perform spay/neuter surgeries on cats, dogs and other animals in our new shelter clinic space and at our future public spay/neuter clinic.
Providing high level medical care and sterilization procedures to our patients in accordance with established policy and procedure
Performing pre-operative, spay/neuter surgeries and post-operative care
Maintaining proper written records
Communicating as needed with staff and clients in a professional and compassionate manner
Salary is commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits. Relocation expense reimbursement will be considered.
Requires DVM, VMD or equivalent, and must be eligible to obtain a Hawaii veterinary license within 6 months of employment. Two years of experience working in a clinic environment and animal shelter experience is preferred. Previous management/leadership experience and training is a plus.
