Glenwood Veterinary Clinic in Glenwood Springs, CO is currently seeking an associate veterinarian who will see predominantly equine patients with a small amount of bovine, small ruminant and camelid work. Additionally this individual will have the option to see small animal patients if they are interested. Our equine patients range in breed and discipline from Grand Prix Jumpers and Futurity champions to backyard burros and drive teams. We are heavily involved in regenerative medicine and sports medicine and we will continue to stay progressive when it comes to equine health.
Glenwood Veterinary Clinic has provided services to the Roaring Fork Valley and western slope of Colorado since 1936. From a one-veterinarian country practice, we currently have 3 veterinarians running a full service mixed animal hospital. We see clients from western colorado and parts of Utah and Wyoming. Glenwood Springs is a growing mountain town located near interstate 70, equidistant (40 miles or less) from Vail, Beaver Creek, and Aspen ski resorts at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado rivers.
Our future associate veterinarian is a person who is motivated, hard-working, shares a vision with the practice owners and is committed to providing the absolute highest level of care to our patients and clients. We would prefer to hire someone who has completed an equine internship, however new graduates will be considered. This individual will be expected to contribute to our on call schedule (no more than 2 nights a week and 2 weekends per month).
