Prairie Animal Hospital has been serving our clients for over 30 years and to meet our growing client demand we are looking to add an associate veterinarian to our team. We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, professional, driven and balanced with the ability to have fun in the work place. About Our Hospital: Prairie is large companion animal hospital offering a full surgical suite, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, In-house laboratory, CO2 cutting Laser, Ultrasound, Cold Laser Therapy, Onsite pharmacy and Boarding. We have a wonderful staff to support you in practice. We offer everything from routine spays to specialized surgeries. We are located 40 min away from Spokane Pet Emergency and Referral Services, seven miles away from Post Falls Emergency Pet Clinic and two hours driving time to Washington State Veterinary Teaching Hospital. We are located in Coeur d’Alene Idaho which is known to be a small town with a big atmosphere. Coeur d'Alene is amidst the beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene and 70 surrounding lakes! Minutes away from several State and Federal parks and 4 ski areas. But if you’re not an outdoor enthusiast, no worries, Coeur d’Alene also offers all the comforts and glams of the big city, just in a much easier commute. The Coeur d’ Alene resort and shops let you feel luxurious while staying close to home. Our Expectations would be that your time here would be meaningful as you work towards building compassionate relationships with your clients and our staff to provide the highest level of care to our patients. In addition, we would also be seeking that you: Are a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine In good standing with the State of Idaho. That you work collaboratively with hospital team members and make decisions confidently and effectively. Also that that time is managed efficiently and appropriately. Model professional and courteous manner with clients and staff. And to see a commitment to ongoing educational growth. About Your Responsibilities: Build relations with clients and patients. Provide patients with highest standard of care from the exam room to the surgery room. Proper medical documentation of care offered or performed. Perform proper physical examination/diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental and referrals. Three to four 10 hour days per week of full time work commitment
Additional Salary Information: Base pay with quarterly production
