ST PETERSBURG COMPANION ANIMAL PRACTICE SEEKING EXPERIENCED VETERINARIAN (3+ YEARS) with orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery experience.

AAHA-accredited since 2002, our well established companion animal practice is conveniently located on a major thoroughfare in northeastern St. Petersburg, an easy 5-minute drive to downtown St. Pete, a 15-minute drive to our beautiful beaches, and a 20-minute drive to downtown Tampa.

We are a primary care facility which also houses the Tampa Bay K9 Rehabilitation Center, as well as an in-house stem cell & regenerative therapy lab.  Strong emphasis on client satisfaction, wellness/disease prevention, comprehensive dental care, orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, canine rehabilitation, regenerative medicine, and soft tissue surgery. 

We have new Sound Technology Smart DR digital xray, Dental Focus digital Dental Xray, radiosurgical units, new Sound Technology Logiq Ultrasound, ECG, pharmacy, in-house lab, in-house regenerative therapies lab; hydrotherapy heated swim tank and underwater treadmill along with other canine rehab modalities housed in a separate 500 square foot canine rehab facility; and all anesthetic monitoring equipment required by AAHA standards. 

We also offer CE opportunities to meet licensure requirements and bring value to the practice as well as an in-house professional & leadership development program.

Qualifications Needed

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Florida Licensure in good standing
  • Must be ultrasound competent.
  • Experienced in soft tissue surgery.
  • Experienced in orthopaedic surgery with strong desire to expand scope of surgical offerings.
  • Experienced in minimally invasive surgery or strong interest in learning.
  • Emergency experience a plus
  • Minimum 3 years post DVM grad or recent intern or resident graduate
  • A friendly, caring and compassionate professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills is who we are seeking.
  • Dependable and reliable with a good work ethic.
