We expect the best medicine and great client services. We want someone who can grow and eventually help with training new staff members to be part of this terrific practice. We are willing to train new grads but prefer a doctor with an internship or a year in practice. We have the highest standards and expect the same in all our staff.
We are currently searching for at least one more associates to fulfill positions at I-20 Animal Medical Center, one of the largest and most successful practices in the state. We have a great team of doctors but want to add more. We are a privately owned, AAHA-certified, certified Feline Friendly well-managed full-service general practice and 24-hr emergency/critical care referral and with 12 doctors, including a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry and residency-trained criticalist. Our 16,000 sq. ft. facility was a winner in the national Merit Award Hospital Design contest. I-20 Animal Medical Center is located in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area serving over 200 referring practices for emergency and critical care. We are a busy, exciting practice and doctors are well-compensated with flexible schedules to allow plenty of time to enjoy the rewards of hard work!
We have stationary and portable ultrasounds, laser declaw, digital radiograph, cold laser therapy, endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery equipment. We recently remodeled our ICU and are always updating equipment.
Doctors have a long-term mentorship with our Medical Director, a residency-trained criticalist, to learn and utilize advanced internal medicine diagnostics and advanced critical patient care. Dr. Welch’s expertise and insight are well respected throughout the veterinary community. You will have the opportunity for ongoing training with one of the best criticalist who is also amazing at diagnostics and training. When fully trained and comfortable with emergencies, they begin rotation. Mentorship and peer discussion is one of the many positive aspects of our hospital with a multitude of doctors from varied backgrounds and training.
We are searching for a motivated DVM, with excellent medical standards. We usually require experience but at this time we have a full staff of experienced doctors and we have the opportunity to offer a position to the right recent graduate who is ready to learn and grow- If you are lacking in experience please include information about yourself that as to why you would be a worthy candidate for this opportunity.
This doctor would need to work some of the night rotation- after they are trained. Our doctors usually work 4 days on 4 days off. We do have the possibility of some different overnight schedules.
